EVENTS

Berlin

In September, we spent several inspiring days in Berlin for Art Week – exploring the city’s vibrant art scene and visiting a curated selection of galleries. Together with our participants, we discovered exciting artistic positions and gained deep insights into current contemporary practices.

A particular highlight was our visit to the Wilhelm Hallen, where, in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz and Telekom, we focused on Corporate Collections. Through conversations with curators and company representatives, we explored how art is integrated into corporate contexts and the roles it plays within them – offering a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes of major brand collections.

Our days in Berlin were filled with new impressions, inspiring encounters, and meaningful exchange. We’re already looking forward to the next trip – perhaps you’ll join us next time?

Frankfurt

We had the pleasure of visiting the studio of the talented Städel graduates Gregor Lau and Nicholas Stewens, as well as Lena Stewens (a graduate of the HfG), in Offenbach – a space that is usually private and closed to the public.

It was an extraordinary experience to witness their ideas, processes, and materials up close. In conversation, the artists offered profound insights into their themes and techniques – accompanied by wine, finger food, and engaging exchanges.

The evening before, we had the special honor of visiting an exceptional private collection of contemporary art.

The visit powerfully illustrated the many ways of living with art – and what courageous, diverse, and deeply personal collecting truly means. Built with dedication over decades, the collection revealed itself as one full of depth, conviction, and surprising perspectives.
